On Facing Trauma And PTSD

This episode is brought to you by bloody marys and dry shampoo. K&K got together on a Sunday morning to talk about something everyone loves-

trauma! What, you don’t like long, romantic discussions about PTSD, anxiety, and depression? Well you’re about to…

Forewarning, this episode may include possible triggers. Everything from sexual assault, domestic violence, tornados, and shoe shopping are addressed with a dark enthusiasm only Kim and Kirsta could possibly apply to otherwise gloom and doom topics. Yay, therapy!

As vicarious trauma is explained, we will remind you that there will be no mention of the Parkland Florida murderer’s name here. We will only be remembering and memorializing the victims of the Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy.

Kim will be part of the ‘Understanding Guns in America’ discussion panel for TEDx Mile High on February 21st in Denver, CO. Be sure to tune in on our Facebook page at 6pm MST to follow the live stream of the event. She’s going to try not to puke from overwhelming nerves, but no promises.
